We Walk By Faith

We walk by faith not by sight….

Sometimes it’s so hard to walk forward without knowing what’s ahead.

I want to know the plan.

I want to be able to prepare for what’s in store.

That’s partly why I never waited until my babies were born to find out if I was having a boy or a girl (except for my 6th, because I had a home birth without getting an ultrasound that pregnancy). Most of the fun was preparing for that little new arrival to our family!

But sometimes when following the Lord, He asks us to take a step without knowing what’s ahead, or even sometimes when we feel like we’ll fall. What a comfort to know that God is in control! We begin our Christian walk by faith, and continue in faith. God knows each step and has it already planned and in His control.
