This is the definition of beauty I want for my girls! Their beauty is not determined by a number on a scale, a cute outfit, perfect hair or makeup…it is from drawing close to the Lord and allowing His love to flow through them to others.
God shares in His Word what is beautiful. One verse I’ve memorized is Proverbs 31:26 and try to use it to check my words. “She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” Is what I’m about to say wise? Is it kind?
Oh, how often I fail! And I know that we cannot be perfect until we reach heaven. But may we take more time to be beautiful in God’s eyes than in men’s!
